  • USEC Inc.: Uranium Play With A Bright Future Ahead
Paulk8756, Thank you for your question. If you look at USU they use to be part of the DOE until they were spun off as private. They have ties to the Government that will likely make sure they are viable with respect to this technology as even if the US does not build a bunch of nuclear reactors, the world is and they want to provide. The current energy bill almost looked as though they were setting the loan for USU if you look at the numbers and how it was worded. I do believe the company is guaranteed success going forward and look for the stock to return to levels of $10 to $14 this year on valuation and support from the DOE.

  • Oil Replaces Gold as the New Inflation Hedge
Thank you everyone for your comments, the new viscious circle is why oil is the new hedge against inflation in the United States. The only way the dollar will not trade inversely to the dollar is if they can find a way to supply all our oil needs (not likely) or other forms of energy to reduce our reliance. As long as it trades this way it is a hedge against inflation, sorry.

  • OPEC's Move to Devalue the Euro
It will be interesting going forward, as this situation will be drawn out, I do believe OPEC needs to make a strong move to show they will try to bring the price down, that is the only way as investors believe they don't have the production to pick up US inventories, thanks for the comments everyone.

  • A Speculative Way to Play the Oil Bubble
At this point you are right Georealist, I think you can short DCR into the ground as this ETF will go to zero on the 24th.

  • A Speculative Way to Play the Oil Bubble
RookieInvest: Right now this etf needs to be shorted. I had thought the bubble would burst, but now that it appears this etf will end with oil above $120 it will go to zero. Thanks for the question.
