  • Too Late to the Oil Party? Consider an Alternative (Part II)
Thanks for an excellent article on alternative energy as an investment. Boone Pickens also has a very good plan with wind power.

  • 'Pickens Plan' Comes in the Nick of Time
Boone Pickens is a great American putting his own money where his mouth is, something so few people possess the integrity to do. You can see video of him at www.wsmco.com/show.asp...

  • Acura' Acurox: A Revenue-Deterrent Formulation of Oxycodone
I believe Durect - ticker drrx -are working on the same problem - abuse of Oxycodone and again - I believe - they expect to receive FDA approval in the winter if I'm not mistaken, for their offering to provide the same pain relief in a difficult-to-abuse formula.

  • Netflix Brings On-Demand Video to the Xbox: Another PC to TV Bridge
What a fabulous deal by Microsoft. Their XBox offering is already to my Time Warner Cable offering in that the XBOX offers far more offerings than Time Warner and XBOX has most of them in High-Def which is fantastic. Great job Microsoft !

  • Where Is the Online Video Advertising Revenue Going?

  • Brokerage Stocks: Trouble on the Horizon?
Sorry, but must disagree with you on being negative IBKR, Interactive Brokers are growing rapidly and their slick new ad campaigns on CNBC and Bloomberg emphasizing they are approx 15 x better executing trades than most brokers is surely helping them gain new accounts. And they seem to be geared toward more sophisticated clients who will be shorting and trading in int'l markets which doesn't mean their revenues will be declining.

  • Departure Imminent for Yahoo Network Div. EVP
I've had dealings with Scott Moore a number of times through the years and he's always been a smart and stand-up guy, which is -believe me - a truly noteworthy exception in the world of internet business deals. I don't know the others but he's a star and it won't hurt Yahoo for him to be in charge.
