Here I Go, Criticizing Warren Buffett

From an outsiders perspective it looks a little bit like a China investment. An investment where one can win "big" but can't lose. If Golden Sachs or GE go bankrupt the govt. will just bail them out. I'm glad Buffet shares his investment information--it's the only way to go.

Nouriel Roubini...........econ... teacher speaks on the economy. Nouriel predicted this plunge in the world economy.
3.) Where's all the inflation? (I have too many articles written by so-called experts statomg gold will reach 1500 cause of inflation.)
4.) If China wants to buy out all our gold supplies then they'll wait until the price of Gold hits "rock bottom."
Another expert says "And if China were to match roughly half of the gold reserves held by the United States, it would have to buy another $636 billion worth. That kind of buying would send gold to well more than $2,000 an ounce. Probably to $3,000, or even higher. My view: China has already started purchasing small amounts of gold. It's one of the reasons gold is now holding support at its 1980 high in the mid-$800 level, well above important support levels on the charts from $600 up to $735 an ounce. China has a mere 0.9% of its reserves in gold (600 tons). That's the lowest of any industrialized economy! To put it into perspective ...
 The U.S. has 77.3% of its foreign reserves in gold.

 The European Union has 23% of its reserves in gold.

 Lithuania, Mozambique, and even tiny Nepal all have more of their reserves in gold than China.
Just to up its reserves to 5% in gold, Beijing would have to purchase $93 billion worth of bullion. That could easily send the yellow metal skyrocketing to more than $2,000 an ounce."

6.) Marry a wealthy Chinese female.

Fear and Greed: Premise for Capitulation and Overreaction

Inverse Mutual Funds is this another name for "selling short" the market. It's basically betting that the market will fall down and profiting on the falling. Lots of really wealthy people and businesses are using Inverse Mutual Funds to profit on this market.

It's a Tricky Time for Investors

I know law school graduates who can't find jobs, end up substitute teaching in high schools. It's way too expensive law school for me, and there's no guaranteed job in law afterwards.

Grossed Out: Why Is It OK for Some People To Ask for Handouts?

Mr. Gross is fighting and trying to buy himself time to save his money. Mr. Gross sounds like an egomaniac with lots of entitlement going on. Lots of "other people" will benefit when a capitalistic Market falls, and people like Mr. Gross lose their money.

Another American Money Pit: Infrastructure

Maybe just globalize the infastructure of the world. Take all the US transportation govt. workers and trade them 1:1 for Japaneese, European, China govt. workers. I bet the US would hire them, but nobody would hire the US worker.

Bearish Calls:

Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
Annaly Mortgage (NLY) -- I think this is a business model that needs to borrow money. Definitively do not buy."
Northrop Grumman (NOC) -- You can't own the defense stocks right now. If I had to own one, I'd look at Lockheed Martin (LMT) with its good dividend.
