$25 Oil Could Happen Before a Return to $100

The longer price of oil stays low, the better. The main reason is it will help the economy rebound faster. On the downside, it will prolong our move away from fossil fuels. There's also the real threat of global warming. Perhaps we could also switch vendors - stop buying from countries who aren't very trustworthy.

My question is, do you think we learned our lesson this time?

Revving Up the Electric Car

All good points. But what about trucks, especially 18 wheelers and heavy duty delivery? I'm not convinced electric is there yet. Yes, there will be a shift away from oil, but as the author admits, gradual.

Oil, Iraq and U.S. Foreign Policy: A Way Forward (Part II)

Based on its simplicity, I like the idea. Getting everyone to agree on anything over there is a pipe dream. I say we take over the entire energy infrastructure over there until the Iraqi's say enough is enough. Otherwise, the hell with them. It's destroying our country.

This essay is so important it should replace our pledge of allegiance. I too am amazed at the lack of leadership our "leaders" have provided. Disgusted would be a better word.

Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
