      'Renting' Stocks For Dividend-Dividend Capture
Roger, Check it out. It was reported on the radio that for the next two years dividends will be excluded from taxes. Reliable source, just can't remember which one it was. Heard it on the radio. Also, someone called in and asked if they had heard it right and was reassured in the affirmative. Possible it was Bob Brinker, but I am not sure. I am writing in from Ca. Anyway, if it wasn't Brinker, it was someone with similar knowledge, as I don't believe everything I hear. Will be watching for some info from you.

Roger, your article is very interesting since I incorporate your subject material into my own investments. However, you missed up on one thing - it is my understanding that for the next two years, or DEFINITELY for the next year, DIVIDENDS ARE NOT GOING TO BE TAXABLE. tHAT IS WHY i AM TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THIS FACT AND PLAYING THE DIVIDEND GAME TO THE HILT. IT CAN BE PROFITABLE WHEN COMBINED WITH COVERED CALLS AND GOOD TIMING RE SELLING THE POSITION.

Steve, thanks so much for the illuminating info. I read it twice. And I'm going to save it for awhile. When I read something like what you wrote, I realize that I'm no genius. You wrote some very intelligent stuff and now I am left to consider HTE from a different angle. Of course, I'm not selling it on Mon., but I will be on the alert. The div. is good for the next two months . About the teaser - I am wondering where are the "better things" you mentioned. If you feel like giving a few hints, because that would be saying something "good" about a company, and would keep your principles intact, it would be very helpful, as was your well-written info. Thanks again.

All of you sound very intelligent, so maybe you could give me an opinion about a CanRoy, symbol HTE. I am long a sizeable number of shares which produce more than 16% income + I have capital appreciation (except once in awhile, down a very small amount) and concluded when I bought them that HTE was the best one of all, except for PWI with which I did very well. However, it isn't available anymore, having been bought out. I did very well with that one and chose HTE as the best one available. So I would appreciate any opinions from all of you. Will check back. Thanx.

Uranium Miners Expected to Benefit from Falling Inventories
Albert, if this will help you - Cameco, a couple of years ago, was an energized trading vehicle, with a high beta, and a joy to trade. Then it got tired and became a wallflower, and barely moved at all. Subsequently it lost favor more and more. I have been thinking, for about six months, that this company is a bargain. It was a class act once, and I think the time is very ripe for CCJ to become the star of the commodity show. As to the highly technical stuff, I am not that smart. But the bottom line is - Just maybe CCJ is one heck of a bargain now. I have been considering buying some , and I have a feeling that those insiders on Wall Street bought it at the bottom. That's how they get rich.

Gold: The Last Cheap Asset Class
eric hart - Great comment. Just the other day I thought of something for the first time, something no one, to my knowledge, has ever mentioned in all the articles, namely that if gold were to settle at $700.00, all the goldmines would be flourishing. THEY don't need $2,000 gold to be profitable. They have been in business for many years when the price of gold was half what it is now. So, in my opinion, investing in a carefully selected mining company is not any different from investing in any other category of stock. I'm doing it. Just look at FCX, BHP and RIO, a few of my favorites. There is the answer to the question of whether gold can really be considered an investment. Also, as regards oil, I have a sizeable position in HTE, a CANROY, which pays me over 16% dividend on a monthly basis. By the way, the other mines mentioned also pay generous dividends and FCX has wonderful options for people like me who like to write naked options, both puts and calls. These are all huge, reliable companies and of course they need monitoring as do ALL stocks.

      Commodity Forecasters See Prices Declining
Every article presented by Bespoke attempts to cast aside commodities as worthless and not worthy of serious and intelligent consideration. After seeing their name, I knew what to expect before reading even one line. Of what use are their slanted statements? Lots of people feel that way about commodities, and especially gold. But thankfully there are lots of choices when looking for info and ideas. BESPOKE HAS SPOKE. And now let's find something unbiased and intelligent to listen to for financial ideas.

A $1Million Wager for Gold Bears
An $800 price of gold in 1980 translates to approx. $2200 in 2008 as measured by inflation. So, actually, gold is underpriced at this time and $1650 is a very modest prognostication. Which, if it pans out, would make gold a tremendous bargain. For instance, in 1946, a pound of See's Candy was $1.20. Today it is $14.00. So, actually, the price of gold does not reflect inflationary momentum. Today gold is a bargain at $900.

Excellent article. One of the best I have ever read. And today, for the first time, I found myself getting interested in China. So was happy to see it mentioned. Everything you wrote expressed exactly how I feel about this market, only you said it better than I ever could. Thanks again. I hope a lot of people read it and wake up.
