I think every one is right....prices will go lower and it will go higher...As Mr. Buffet said about the market...it will fluctuate.

Very good reply Allan..that is exactly correct. I might enhance your answer with that they are trading vehicles and not investment vehicles.

Paul, you just leave the big money to us.

Cramer's Stop Trading! Zombie Stocks (11/21/08)
They do not actually give them money...they call and say how much do you need. Citi will tell them ...they will say okay and hang up...that is it..a verbal guaranteed....citi will then take that amount of credit and leverage it by 100 times and loan it out.....thus the world keeps turning and churning.
What do you think money is any ways...nothing but a guranteed by those who prints it.

Today statistics on unemployment rate is done much differently now then it was in 1930 or even 1990. Unless your article took this in consideration, it is an invalid argument.

The ideal has work so far....all you need is a credit card and then declare bankruptcy when you can not pay the bill...Oh, I forgot ...credit is getting tougher. Guess, do the next best thing...write your congressman...Oh, that is right, he owns stock in that company.

Paulson and Bernanke Were Wrong on Lehman
I found this article very educational; however, I would say that even if LEH was bail out, the naked shorties would have just driven down the next stock in line. With both naked shorties being stop and LEH bailout it may have worked. But as you say: hindsight is 20/20. Thank you for the article.

Yes, it is shameful. But, it is hard too feel sorry for people who got the wealth in the first place with the same scheme which they have fell victim too.

I will prove too you the Government is a joke and no longer represent the common man but rather big money.

1- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission lied in an official report to the government.
2- They still have jobs while a lot of the country population suffers without one.
