      Mortgage REIT Magic
if it looks like a scam, and seems like a scam, and finds support in paper "valuations" then it is probably too good to be true and isn't.

The Top 5 Looming Financial Issues
it is not the presidential candidates, it is the idiots elected to the congress who only do what the lobbyist pay them to do. People who elect the pelosi, reids, kennedy, schumers of the world will never allow election of someone willing to do something for the country. the defeatocrats and their messiah certainly will not solve any problem. the republicians are inept in politics and have no leadership or ideas. liberalism is a mental illness since feeling replace actions and shows caring for those less fortunate. the problem remains, but people feel good about "helping" the cause.

keep lowering your prices and your margins and things will continue to decline. keep quite, lack transparency, don't pay dividends, and who knows how many more "investors" will buy your stock. Didn't Enron have a great PR capability as well?

      Apple: Economy Is Depressed
if people are cutting back on spending for back to school, vacations, auto purchases, and house payments, I think they would be inclined to purchase a less costly mobile telephone as an interim measure pending a recovery in future confidence. appeletts are a cult like band of lemmings wanting the newest touchy techie thing to show off to their band. kinda like $450 sunglasses.

XM Announces Agreement With Noteholders in Good Move for Merger
the demo scum are beholden to their lobby contributors and don't want to make a decision until after the election. of course they would prefer to never make a decision but keep collecting the contributions and pontificating about nothing.

Apple Investors Nervous as Earnings Call Approaches
if apple were in infrastructure they would sell you an upgraded brooklyn bridge. apple lacks transparency (like banks) and just continues to hype its upgrades. the phone wars are far from over and the full impact of the recent "new" pricing, etc has not been adequately analyzed for future implications and contributions to profit. usually when the price of something is cut, profits decline.

      Historic Financial Collapse Underway?
can someone please explain to me how accumulating gold with declining dollars and current inflation is going to solve my future. Perhaps Porter can provide a chart of the rise in the price of gold in real dollars that have been adjusted for dollar value declines and inflation. I have a few golf things and when I take them to the store to pay for goods, no one takes it. I tried to sell it on EBay but people wanted to pay me in dollars which according to Porter is a losing proposition. I took out all my gold crowns and replaced them with ceramic, but had to pay inflated prices in dollars. I took all my dollars and tried to sell them on EBay for non dollars, but had no bids. I think I will join Porter and just leave the USA so I can be safe. Oh, he did not say that. Seems like he wants his son to grow up in America.

      Majority of Americans Support Ethanol
the media would convince you that Al Gore is correct about his global warming disaster, but with everyone worried about this winter's heating oil cost and activating their iphones and going to see batman during the summer reruns on tv, I am not sure I know what to believe. I may need to watch Oprah!

      FHA: Another Ticking Time Bomb?
in a sellers market with available creative financing, the seller may not opt for FHA financing due to time and cost. However, in a buyers market with restricted financing most sellers will do what is necessary to sell and cut their loss or stop the bleeding. Remember most buyers are not realtors looking to flip and are smart enough to get the price down. If the seller refuses to understand the current nature of the market, then classify them as prospective sellers, because they won't sell.
